Got Pork Flu?

For KXOJ today I made a great Mediterranean Salad. You can view the recipe and listen to my cooking tips by following this link: http://kxoj.com/morningblog/?p=2531

Ok, so on to the Swine Flu.

First…Pork is just as safe to eat today as it was before the flu outbreak.  You will not get the Swine Flu from eating a nice big, juicy slice of Roasted Pork Loin.

The media reported today that they are officially changing the name of the Swine Flu to protect the safety of pigs.  Here are my PC suggestions for alternative names to Swine Flu:

  • Fat Back Flu
  • Ham Flu
  • Pork Chop Flu
  • Pork Belly Flu
  • Bacon Flu
  • Trotter Flu
  • Squeal Flu
  • Head Cheese Flu
  • Snout Flu
  • TVFKASF (The Virus Formerly Known As Swine Flu)
  • The Three Little Flu
  • Toe Flu
  • Miss Piggy Flu

I am sure there could be a million more so feel free to add more in the comment section as you think of them…

And by the way, here are a couple of links to my Pork Recipes:
